FOOPS!

  • Automated
  • Ontology
  • Unverified

FOOPS! (Ontology Pitfall Scanner for the FAIR Principles) assesses whether a vocabulary written in OWL or SKOS conforms to the FAIR principles. Its source code can run as a server or from the command line.

Use case: Assessing a vocabulary that is published with a URI, or running the assessment locally from the source code.

Status note

On 2026-10-25 https://w3id.org/foops answered with a 301 redirect to https://foops.linkeddata.es/FAIR_validator.html. That host (138.100.11.160) did not complete a connection on port 443: curl timed out after 15 to 25 seconds and a second client received ECONNREFUSED. The GitHub repository loaded.
